NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO TAKE INPUT THE RICH COUNTY DEVELOPMENT CODE The Rich County Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing to receive comments: WHAT: Rich County Development Code WHEN: Thursday, September 24th, 2026 at 7:00 pm WHERE: Rich County Courthouse, Main St. Randolph, Ut.. The Rich County Planning & Zoning Commission has determined that the county needs to repeal and replace their existing development code. A thorough review of the code has been conducted by the Rich County Attorney and found to be out of compliance with state statutes. The updated code will now be in compliance with current state land use laws. Anyone wishing to comment at this hearing must keep those comments to five (5) minutes. Any group of people with the same opinion wishing to comment should have one speaker representing that group. A complete copy of the provisions are available for public review at the following locations: Richcounty.gov Bear Lake Regional Commission Office, 69 N. Paradise Pkwy. Garden City Rich County Courthouse, 20 S. Main, Randolph, Utah 84064 Public comments are requested and may be given at the hearing or in writing to: Bear Lake County Planning & Zoning Commission PO Box 472, Garden City Utah. 84028. Immediately following the hearing the Planning & Zoning Commission will hold its regular Commission meeting.
