A. Server Room Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Replacement, State Contract, Scott Persons Gamatronics ceased operations in 2023. Since then, TechConnect has done an outstanding job maintaining our Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and extending their functional life by an additional two years. However, because manufacturing has been discontinued, replacement parts for these systems are no longer available.
Tooele County Information Technology is requesting approval to proceed with replacement through TechConnect (State Contract #MA4094), installing Toshiba 4400 Series devices with the Generex battery monitoring system. These devices are designed to keep our current Primary Data Center operational for up to 1.5 hours, providing sufficient time to transition to our generators or complete a clean shutdown.
