NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
The Eagle Mountain Planning Commission will hold public hearings on September 22, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as business allows, in the Eagle Mountain City Council Chambers, located at 1650 E. Stagecoach Run, Eagle Mountain, Utah 84005. The Planning Commission will receive public comments concerning the following items:
Eagle Mountain Municipal Code Amendments:
EMMC Titles 16 and 17: This proposal adds a plat notation requirement for wildland urban interface (WUI) lots to EMMC 16.25.040 and corresponding definitions to 17.10.030. It also amends EMMC 17.60.040 to permit removal of vegetation from WUI lots, as required by Utah Code ยง 10-20-619(6) (amended by 2026 HB 215). EMMC 9.10 and 17.47: An Ordinance of Eagle Mountain City, Utah, Amending the Eagle Mountain Municipal Code Section 9.10 and 17.47 Regarding Archery Use Within the City. EMC Staff Point of Contact: Natalie Winterton, nwinterton@eaglemountain.gov.
Materials for the public hearing items may be viewed within three days of the meeting on the city website and at the Eagle Mountain City Recorder's Office, 1650 E Stagecoach Run, Eagle Mountain, UT, during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
