- PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Helper City, Utah intends during the 2026 calendar year to prepare amendments to a number of its municipal ordinances, and clarifying updates to the general plan might also be considered. The goal of the initiative is to adopt them in late 2026 or early 2027. The proposed amendments are intended to simplify and update the City's regulations regarding issues such as administrative roles and processes, public safety, parking, animals, and land use. The final regulations will apply to all areas of the City. This notice is provided pursuant to Utah State Code (10-20-2). The public and each of the statutorily-identified Affected Entities are invited and will have several opportunities to provide information for the City to consider in the process of preparing, adopting, and implementing the proposed ordinance and plan amendments. Interested parties can learn more at https://HelperCodeUpdate.org/ and are encouraged to subscribe to future notices through the State Public Notice website (http://www.utah.gov/pmn/index.html) for further information including detailed meeting agendas and other issues related to the planning process.
