- EASTLAND SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRICT--Meeting Agenda Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at 6:00 PM MST At the Eastland Schoolhouse 1- Vote: Approval of previous meeting minutes (6/10/2026) 2- Public Comment: Time for citizens to address Board on matters not on the agenda. Comments should be limited to matters within the jurisdiction of the Board. If your comment concerns item on agenda please address the Board when that item comes up. Chair may limit the duration of each speaker to 3 minutes. Discussion Items 3-Update: Financials 2026 YTD Budget/Actuals-Janet 4-Update: DEQ IPS Report-40 points now (down from 85). From DBP (disinfectant byproducts Q3) sample missed, and Bacterial sample missed-Nate will do rest of sampling and tests needed with new System Manager as part of training-Janet 5- Update- PFAS test #2 results-Janet 6- Update: Utah Local Trust insurance electronic payments in the future-Janet 7- Update- Tower leak-Fixed- Warren 8-Update-Answers to Lamarr's questions-Janet 9- Discussion- Do we need to adjust rates? Nate recommends we do rate assessment, which he will do with help from RUWA for December meeting-Janet/Lamarr 10-Update: Regular maintenance backhoe-Janet Action Items 11-Discussion/Vote: New staff/Volunteer: Hire new System Manager and Bookkeeper-Janet 12-Discussion/Vote: Wildfire Policy as of 2020, Do we want to change it? County bill after the 2026 fire-Janet 13-Vote:Transfer Switch moved. (Beh $1,234.40 bid/Bill $1432.62) Do we pay added $198.22-Janet 14-Vote: Discussion re Garbage issues-Camera in place-do we need to change things?-Janet 15- Discussion/Vote: Process to pursue seeking additional water source (liquid not paper) 1) from Colorado or 2) Drill new well -Gary/Chris Crowley/Jeremy Redshaw- Janet 16-Vote: Designation of next meeting-December 9, 2026-(second Wednesdays/Quarter)-all 17-Vote: Adjournment-all
