Town of Lynndyl Public Notice of Vacancy Sept 5, 2026 The Town of Lynndyl is accepting a letter of interest from qualified residents interested in filling a vacancy on the Lynndyl Town Council and Planning & Zoning commission. Applicants must meet the applicable qualifications for appointment and be a resident of the Town of Lynndyl. Interested individuals may submit a letter of interest to: Attention Town Clerk at lynndyl.clert@gmail.com Deadline to apply: 10/04/2026 The council will hold an open meeting and will interview each applicant on: Date: 10/07/2026 Time: 7:00 Place of meeting: 98 E Center Street, Lynndyl, UT 84640. Applicants must meet the following criteria: o Be a United States Citizen o Be at least 18 years old o Be a resident of the municipality or a resident of the recently annexed area for 12 consecutive months o Be a registered voter of the municipality o In accordance with Utah Constitution, Article IV, Section 6, a mentally incompetent individual, an individual convicted of a felony, or an individual convicted of treason or a crime against the elective franchise may not hold office in this state until the right to hold elective office is restored under Section 20A-2-101.3 or 20A-2-101-5 _________________________________ Mary Carpenter, Lynndyl Town Clerk
