NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Box Elder County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday September 17, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible in the Box Elder County Commission Chambers (Historic Courthouse, 01 South Main Street, Brigham City, Utah) to receive input on the following proposed petition(s): PUBLIC HEARINGS 1. ORDINANCE TEXT AMENDMENT Z26-017, Request for a text amendment to Section 5-1-70 Lot Standard and Street Frontage of the Box Elder County Land Use Management & Development Code. 2. ORDINANCE TEXT AMENDMENT Z26-019, Request for a text amendment to Section 5-6-060(C) for existing Accessory Dwelling Units to be allowed as short-term rentals of the Box Elder County Land Use Management & Development Code. 3. ZONING MAP AMENDMENT Z26-020, Request for a zone change of 4.1 acres from A-20 (Agriculture - 20 acre lots) to RR-1 (Rural Residential 1 acre lots) located at approximately 3724 N 6000 W in the Corinne area of unincorporated Box Elder County. 4. ORDINANCE TEXT AMENDMENTS Z26-021, Request to amend Chapter 3-4 Commercial & Manufacturing Zone of the Box Elder County Land Use Management & Development Code. Any interested parties should plan to attend. Copies of these petitions may be reviewed prior to the public hearing in the Box Elder County Community Development office, Room 34 in the Box Elder County Historic Courthouse.
