2026 GENERAL ELECTION CERTIFICATION
I, Linda Christiansen, Sanpete County Clerk, do hereby certify that:
1. Pursuant to Utah Code Annotated 20A-5a-209(2)(a), candidates whose names appear on the attached list are qualified for placement and shall appear on the 2026 General Election ballot; and,
2. Pursuant to Utah Code Annotated 20A-5a-209(2)(b), candidates' names shall appear on the 2026 General Election ballot as written and in the order listed on the attached list; and,
3. Pursuant to Utah Code Annotated 20A-12-201(3)(a), the names of the following judicial offices subject to retention election shall appear on the 2026 General Election ballot; and,
4. Pursuant to Utah Code Annotated 20A-5a-209(2)(c), no statewide ballot propositions have qualified for placement on the 2026 Utah General Election ballot; and,
5. Pursuant to Utah Code Annotated 20A-7-103(4), the following proposed constitutional amendments as passed by the Utah State Legislature shall appear on the 2026 General Election ballot; and,
6. Pursuant to Utah Code Annotated 20A-8-106(2)(b), the following official political parties are currently registered in Utah; and,
7. Pursuant to Utah Code Annotated 20A-5a-210, a county clerk shall publish the required notice for the county, as a class A notice, for 30 calendar days, no earlier than Monday, August 31, 2026, and no later than Wednesday, September 2, 2026.

PROPOSED CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS
Constitutional Amendment A
Shall the Utah Constitution be amended to change how proposed constitutional amendments are published, requiring publication for 60 days immediately before the general election in a manner established by state law instead of in newspapers?
If voters approve Constitutional Amendment A, state statute would change to require the Lieutenant Governor to publish the full text of all proposed constitutional amendments and other ballot questions from the Legislature, on the Utah Public Notice Website and on the Lieutenant Governor's website for 60 days immediately before the general election. Shall the Utah Constitution be amended to require that citizen-proposed laws that increase taxes compared to existing law be approved by at least 60% of voters, instead of a simple majority? (For/Against)
