The Lindon City Council will hold a meeting at 5:15 pm on TUESDAY, Sept. 8, 2026 in the Lindon City Center Council Chambers, 100 North State Street, Lindon, Utah. Meetings are typically broadcast live at www.youtube.com/user/LindonCity. The agenda will consist of the following:

7. Consent Agenda - (Items do not require public comment or discussion and can all be approved by a single motion. The following consent agenda items will be presented for approval:
a) School Resource Officer MOU with Alpine School District; Resolution #2026-29-R
b) Surplus Equipment Disposal; Resolution #2026-31-R
c) Proclamation declaring the month of September 2026 as 'Constitution Month'
8. Review & Action: AC installation at Veterans Hall & Aquatic Center. The Council will review and consider whether to install air conditioning at the Veterans Hall in the Lindon City Center Park. The building has a swamp cooler that is not effective at sufficiently cooling the building when temps exceed about 90 degrees, and the city is receiving complaints from those renting the facility. Air conditioning units are also requested to be installed in the Aquatic Center mechanical room (under the slides) where pump equipment is running very hot and electrical equipment may be damaged by high heat.
9. Public Hearing: Water Ordinance update (water shares updates); Ordinance #2026-15-O. With the North Union Canal Company, and other associated water companies now dissolved, the Council will review and consider changes to Lindon City Code regarding what types of water shares are accepted for new development and/or for connection to the secondary water system.
10. Public Hearing: FY2026-27 Fee Schedule amendments, Accepted Water Shares; Resolution #2026-30-R. The Council will review and consider modifications to the accepted water shares required by Lindon City within the FY2026-27 Fee Schedule.
11. Review & Action: Dispatch Services Payment Agreement & Interlocal Agreement with Central Utah 911; Resolution #2026-23-R. The Council will review and consider for adoption a Resolution authorizing the Mayor to sign a contract for services between Central Utah 911 and Lindon City to provide public safety dispatch services and adopt the Interlocal Agreement to become part of the Central 911 entity; and providing for an effective date.
12. Closed Session - The City Council will discuss potential purchase or sale of real property and pending or possible litigation per Utah Code 52-4-205(1)(e) & 52-4-205(1)(c). This session is closed to the general public.
