General Notice:
The Town of Dutch John is requesting Bids for the replacement of a membrane roof for the
following Project: Dutch John Fire Station Roof Replacement
Bids will be received by the Town of Dutch John at PO Box 235, Dutch John, UT 84023, or
electronically through Sunrise Engineering's Planroom at www.sunrise-eng.com, until September
21, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. local time. Bids will be opened and read at 560 South Blvd, Dutch John, UT
84023., on September 21, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. local time.
The project:
The Dutch John Fire Station is currently covered by a single-ply membrane roofing system that has
experienced leakage and has reached the end of its anticipated service life. The project generally
consists of removing and replacing the existing roofing membrane as shown in the Drawings and
specified in the Specifications and Special Provisions. The work also includes removal and
replacement of insulation as necessary to provide a nominal slope of 1/4 inch per foot toward the
roof drains, clearing and testing the existing roof drains, and repairing identified soft spots and
areas damaged by water infiltration. Removal and replacement of the existing aluminum cap
flashing will be included as an additive alternate. The roofing system shall be installed by a
manufacturer-approved roofing contractor and shall be eligible for a minimum 30-year
manufacturer's warranty.
Completion date for construction expected to be December 1, 2026.

Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be obtained on Sunrise Engineering's Plan
room at www.sunrise-eng.com. (Click on Plan Room in the top right corner and register) after
August 31, 2026.
Pre-bid Conference:
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday September 10, 2026, 1:00 p.m. onsite at 560
South Blvd, Dutch John, UT 84023.
Deadline for questions will be September 15,2026 at 5:00 p.m. For further requirements regarding
bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders
that are included in the Bidding Documents. The Town of Dutch John may reject any or all bids
submitted.
