General Notice:
The Town of Dutch John is requesting Bids for the remodel of the following Project: Dutch John
Fire Station Building Remodel Project
Bids will be received by the Town of Dutch John at PO Box 235, Dutch John, UT 84023, or
electronically through Sunrise Engineering's Planroom at www.sunrise-eng.com, until September
21, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. local time. Bids will be opened and read at 560 South Blvd, Dutch John, UT
84023., on September 21, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. local time.
The project:
The Dutch John Fire Station Remodel Project generally consists of renovations and upgrades to the
existing fire station to improve its safety, functionality, and operational capabilities. The work includes
mechanical, electrical, safety, communications, security, and building-system improvements, along
with upgrades to equipment and facilities supporting fire and emergency-response operations.
The project also includes renovations to selected interior spaces, replacement of certain doors,
lighting, finishes, flooring, plumbing fixtures, and related building components, and installation of
permanent roof-access equipment. All work shall include the labor, materials, equipment,
accessories, and incidental items necessary to provide complete and functional improvements in
accordance with the Drawings, Specifications, Special Provisions, and other Contract Documents.
Completion date for construction expected to be January 27, 2027.
Obtaining Bidding Documents:
Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be obtained on Sunrise Engineering's Plan
room at www.sunrise-eng.com. (Click on Plan Room in the top right corner and register) after
August 31, 2026.
Pre-bid Conference:
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday September 10, 2026, 2:00 p.m. onsite at
560 South Blvd, Dutch John, UT 84023.
Deadline for questions will be September 15,2026 at 5:00 p.m. For further requirements regarding
bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders
that are included in the Bidding Documents. The Town of Dutch John may reject any or all bids
submitted.
