- PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Weber County, Utah will hold a regular commission meeting in the Commission Chambers at 2380 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah, on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, commencing at 10:00 a.m. The agenda for the meeting consists of the following: A. Welcome- Commissioner Froerer B. Pledge of Allegiance- C. Invocation/Moment of Silence- Lauren Thomas D. Commissioner Comments- E. Agenda Related Public Comments- (Comments will be taken for items listed on the agenda- please limit comments to 3 minutes) F. Consent Items- 1. Request for approval of purchase orders in the amount of $232,988.18. 2. Request for approval of warrants #109050-109097, 498019-498085 and 553-557 in the amount of $5,535,116.90. 3. Summary of warrants and purchase orders. 4. Request for approval of the minutes for the meeting held on August 25, 2026. 5. Request for approval of Right of Way contracts by and between Weber County and the following, for the 2550 South widening project- Favero Farms, LC Thomas L. and Diana R. Lewis 6. Request from Human Resources for approval of 1-200 Policy Definitions. 7. Request from Human Resources for approval of Policy 2-600 Resignation and Separation. 8. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Lucas Johnson to hold the Bareback Jack Tour at the Golden Spike Event Center. 9. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Whiskey Throttle School District, LLC to hold the Wiskey Throttle Race Nights at the Golden Spike Event Center. 10. Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber County and Utah Quarter Horse Association to hold the 2026 UQHRA Fall Races at the Golden Spike Event Center. 11. Request for approval of the second amendment to the Local Transportation Funding Agreement by and between Weber County and Marriott-Slaterville City for the 1700 S. 1200 W. Project. 12. Request for approval of the first amendment to the Local Transportation Funding Agreement by and between Weber County and West Haven City for the 5100 W. 4000 S. Intersection Project. 13. Request for approval of the second amendment to the Local Transportation Funding Agreement by and between Weber County and West Haven City for the 3300 S. 5100 W. Project. 14. Request for approval of Interlocal Agreements by and between Weber County and the following cities for survey related services- Pleasant View City Marriott-Slaterville City 15. Request for approval of contracts by and between Weber County and the following individuals for indigent persons representation in the Second District Court when appointed by the court- Alicia Johnson Kade Combe Michael Crane G. Action Items- 1. Request for approval of a Resolution of the County Commissioners of Weber County appointing members to the Weber County Career Service Council. Presenter: Emily Wilde 2. Request for approval of a Resolution of the County Commissioners of Weber County appointing a member to the Weber-Morgan Board of Health. Presenter: Brian Cowan H.
