NOTICE OF COMBINED WORKING & REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DUCHESNE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Duchesne County Commissioners will meet in a combined working meeting and regular meeting on Monday, August 31, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the Commission Chambers at the Duchesne County Administration Building at 734 N. Center Street, Duchesne, Utah, to discuss and act on the following: - Opening Comments - Pledge of Allegiance - Public Works Update - Discussion & Consideration of Approach Permits - Discussion & Consideration of Purchasing a Power Washer for the Road Department - Emergency Management Update - Building and Grounds Update - Discussion & Consideration of the Black Gold Utah Inland Port Authority Resolution; A Resolution adding parcel numbers to the Black Gold, Utah Inland Port Authority project. - Discussion & Consideration of appointing a Board Member to the Duchesne County Water Conservancy District Board. - Auditor's Office - Vouchers - Tax Adjustments - Deferrals - Payroll - Surplus - Business Licenses - Consideration of Minutes of the Combined Commission Meeting held August 24, 2026 - Discussion of Possible Subjects for the Next Meeting - Commission Calendaring & Weekly Updates on Events - Closed Meeting - Strategy Sessions to Discuss: 1- The Character, Professional Competence, or Physical or Mental Health of an Individual; 2- Collective Bargaining; 3- Pending or Reasonably Imminent Litigation; 4- The Purchase, Exchange, Sale, or Lease of Real Property; 5- Deployment of Security Personnel, Devices, or Systems; and 6- Investigate Proceedings Regarding Allegations of Criminal Misconduct - Consideration to Take Action Discussed Under Closed Meeting I, Chelise Curtis, Duchesne County Clerk-Auditor, certify that once, pursuant to U.C.A., 52-4-202, this notice was posted 24 hours prior to the meeting time.
