City of La Verkin 435 North Main St., La Verkin Utah, 84745 (435) 635-2581 Fax (435) 635-2104 www.laverkin.org PUBLIC HEARING The La Verkin City Planning Commission shall hold a public hearing Wednesday, September 9,2026, at 6:00 p.m. during the regularly scheduled meeting held at the council chambers at 111 South Main, La Verkin, Utah. The public hearing will be to take comments on: 1. Amending the zoning map of and for the City of La Verkin to rezone from Commercial (COMM) to Residential (R-3-6) parcel with the Tax ID # LV-159-A, Located at 740 N Mian Street and SR-17. 2. Amending the zoning map of and for the City of La Verkin to rezone from Retail Commercial (R-COMM) to Multi-Family Residential (R-3-6) parcel with the Tax ID # LV-159-A, Located at 740 N Mian Street and SR-17. 3. Amending the zoning map of and for the City of La Verkin to rezone from One and Two Family Residential (R-1-10) to Multi-Family Residential (R-3-6) parcel with the Tax ID # LV-159-A, Located at 740 N Mian Street and SR-17. 4. Amending the zoning map of and for the City of La Verkin to rezone from Residential Agriculture (R-A-1) to Multi-Family Residential (R-3-6) parcel with the Tax ID # LV-3-1-13- 3420, Located at 740 N Mian Street and SR-17. 5. Amending the zoning map of and for the City of La Verkin to rezone Five Acres from Low Density Residential (R-1-14) to 1.97 acres General Commercial (COMM) parcel with the Tax ID # LV-49-A-1, Located between 300 S and 100 W. 6. Amending the zoning map of and for the City of La Verkin to rezone Five Acres from Low Density Residential (R-1-14) to 3.03 acres High Density Residential (HDR-11) parcel with the Tax ID # LV-49-A-2, Located between 300 S and 100 W. Any person or group wishing to submit written comments regarding the above-referenced item may do so prior to 4:00 p.m., June 26, 2024. Written comments should be directed to Nancy Cline, City Recorder, at the City Offices (above address).
