- NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL MEMBER MIDTERM VACANCY Elk Ridge City is accepting applications to fill a vacant appointed position on the Elk Ridge City Council. Individuals interested in serving the community are invited to apply for consideration by the City Council. Application Requirements Interested applicants should submit the following: - Cover Letter describing their interest in serving on the Elk Ridge City Council; - Current Resume; and - References. Application materials should be submitted by email to s.foster@elkridgeutah.gov. Application Period Application Opens: August 24, 2026 Application Deadline: September 11, 2026 Applications must be received by the city no later than September 11, 2026, to be considered. Interviews and Appointment The Elk Ridge City Council plans to interview qualified applicants during the City Council meeting on September 22, 2026. Following the interviews, the City Council anticipates voting to appoint an individual to fill the vacant Council position that same evening. Applicants should plan to be available to attend the September 22, 2026, City Council meeting.
