The Cache County Fire Protection District Board of Trustees will meet Wednesday, August 26, 2026,
commencing at 12:00 p.m. in the Cache County Historic Courthouse, Council Chambers, 199 North Main
Logan, Utah 84321.
1. CALL TO ORDER
2. SWEARING IN OF BOARD MEMBERS
3. SELECTION OF BOARD CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR
Discussion and consideration of the selection of a Board Chair and Vice Chair
4. NORTH AND SOUTH OPERATIONS COMMITTEES
Discussion and consideration of ratifying the organization of the North and South Operations
Committees and the officers selected by each committee. Committee reports will begin at a subsequent
meeting
5. TECHNICAL OPERATIONS COMMITTEE
Discussion and consideration of establishing a Technical Operations Committee to advise the Cache
Fire Protection District Board on technical matters related to fire protection and emergency services
6. CFPD FINANCIAL OPERATIONS
Discussion regarding the financial operations of the CFPD, including its relationship with the Cache
County Fire Department, participating municipalities and unincorporated areas, the voucher system,
Interlocal agreements, and contracts with participating municipalities
7. CFPD BUDGET AND SOUTH EMS OPERATIONS
Discussion regarding the budgetary needs of the CFPD, including funding necessary for EMS
operations in the South
8. POTENTIAL CACHE COUNTY MUNICIPAL SERVICES LEVY
Discussion regarding a potential Cache County Municipal Services Levy and its role in equalizing costs
between incorporated and unincorporated areas
9. DISTRICT AND MUNICIPAL FUNCTIONS
Discussion regarding which functions should be centralized at the District level and which functions
should remain at the municipal level[Type here]
10. POWDER MOUNTAIN RESOLUTION WITH WEBER FIRE DISTRICT
Discussion and consideration of a resolution regarding Powder Mountain and Weber Fire District
11. NEXT MEETING AND UPCOMING BUSINESS
Discussion and consideration of the next meeting date, potentially next week and matters to be
addressed at that meeting
