Join our Online Open House Open Houses are currently held electronically without an anchor location. ----- About Open Houses Online Open Houses are hosted by the Planning Division as an opportunity for constituents to stay informed, review projects, and provide comments and questions. To attend, visit the project page for each item below. Your input is valuable! ----- Public Comments and Questions We want to hear from you! Public comments and questions will be received within the public comment window. To submit a comment or question, contact the assigned planner via email or leave a voicemail. Your questions will be answered within a week after the comment window has ended. During and following this comment period, the Planning Division will evaluate the proposal against the applicable zoning standards, taking into consideration public comments as they relate to the standards, and develop a recommendation for the Planning Commission. ----- New Projects Open for Public Comment The list of new projects open for public comment is updated bi-weekly. ----- QuikTrip Gas Station - Conditional Use and Design Review - 424 S Redwood Road Joanna Graham, an engineer representing Kimley-Horn, is requesting Conditional Use and Design Review approval for a QuikTrip Gas Station at 424 S Redwood Road. The site is on a split parcel in the MU-5 and M-1 Zoning Districts and is currently permitted as a used car dealership. The request is to modify the provisions for ground-floor glass and building entrances on the north side of the parcel, as required in the MU-5 Mixed Use 5 district. The intent of these modifications is to provide privacy and security for back-of-house employee-only operational areas. This property is located within City Council District 2, represented by Alejandro Puy. The applicant is requesting a modification to allow an active use on the ground floor, rather than an enhanced active use. The proposal includes 12 one-bedroom units and 9 two-bedroom units. The plans show the parking garage and building lobby on the first floor, with residential units on floors 2-4. The proposed building height is 45 feet. The property is approximately 8,167 square feet and is in the D-2 Downtown Support District.
