- HINCKLEY TOWN PUBLIC NOTICE OF TOWN COUNCIL VACANCY NOTICE is hereby given that Hinckley Town, in compliance with Utah Code Annotated, §20A-1-510, will appoint an individual to fill a vacant council seat. The council seat was vacated on August 17, 2026. Those interested in being considered for appointment of this council seat position for the period of September 17, 2026 thru January 3, 2028 shall have until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2026, to submit an application, conflict of interest disclosure, letter of interest and a brief resume to the Town Clerk at clerk@hinckleytown.utah.gov or mail to Hinckley Town Clerk, PO Box 138, Hinckley, UT 84635. Qualified individuals must be a registered voter in Hinckley Town and meet the qualifications for office as described in U.C.A. §10-3-301. Qualified applicants will be provided with an opportunity to briefly address the Town Council members and may be asked to answer some questions posed to them at the Town Council meeting held on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers at 161 E 300 N, Hinckley. After the Town Council's consideration, a selection will be made by a majority vote following the interviews. Posted this 24th day of August 2026.
