Description/Agenda: NEWTON TOWN NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING On the third day of September 2026, at 8:00 p.m., the Newton Town Council will hold a meeting at Newton Town Hall, 51 South Center Newton, Utah, for the purpose of conducting a public hearing on the issue of Newton Code changes to Title 5, animal control. Title 5, animal control code has been updated to be in compliance with State of Utah regulations. Violations to the code have been changed from Class C misdemeanor to Class B misdemeanor. The proposed code changes may be reviewed at Newton Town Hall during business hours or at https://www.newtonutah.gov.
Notice of Special Accommodations (ADA): THE PUBLIC IS INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN ALL TOWN MEETINGS. If special accommodation is needed to participate in the meeting, please call the Town Clerk at 435-563-9283 or email newton@newtonutah.gov at least 3 working days prior to the meeting.
