PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the regular meeting of the Planning Commission of Layton, Utah, will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, in the City Council Chambers, 437 North Wasatch Drive, Layton, Utah, at 7:00 PM.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE AND INVOCATION
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: PLANNING COMMISSION WORK AND REGULAR MEETINGS - July 14, 2026, and July 28, 2026.
PUBLIC MEETING
1. Kravat Nutrition - CONDITIONAL USE
The applicant, Natalie Kravat, is requesting a conditional use permit for a high-impact home occupation for dietetic and nutrition counseling services. The property is located at 1954 East Sunset Drive.
2. Layton Parke Estates Phase 2 Subdivision - 1st Amendment - PLAT AMENDMENT
The applicant, Jed Florence, is requesting to amend Lot 234 and Lot 236 transferring 1,350 square feet from Lot 236 to 234. The property is located at approximately 2120 West South Bend Drive and 930 South 2075 West.
PUBLIC HEARING
3. Pheasant Place - REZONE
The applicant, Zach Reynolds, representing Pheasant View Assisted Living and Memory Care, is requesting to rezone three areas to R-2 (Single and Two Family Residential) to facilitate an expansion of Pheasant View Assisted Living and Memory Care. The property is located at approximately 1242 East Pheasant View Drive.
4. Detached Accessory Dwelling Unit Standards - TEXT AMENDMENT
Layton City proposes to amend the detached accessory dwelling unit standards to be fully compliant with Senate Bill 284 which was passed during the 2026 Utah Legislative Session.
