- PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Weber County, Utah will hold a regular commission meeting in the Commission Chambers at 2380 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah, on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, commencing at 4:00 p.m. The agenda for the meeting consists of the following: A. Welcome- Commissioner Froerer B. Pledge of Allegiance- C. Invocation/Moment of Silence- Duncan Olsen D. Commissioner Comments- E. Agenda Related Public Comments- (Comments will be taken for items listed on the agenda- please limit comments to 3 minutes) F. Consent Items- 1. Request for approval of purchase orders. 2. Request for approval of warrants. 3. Summary of warrants and purchase orders. 4. Request for approval of ACH payment to Zion's Bank in the amount of $267,890.77. 5. Request for approval of the minutes for the meeting held on August 11, 2026. 6. Request for approval of new business licenses. 7. Request for approval of a Right-of-Way Purchase Agreement by and between Weber County and Kelsie and Chase Sanders for road widening project along 2550 South. 8. Request for approval of a 287 (g) Service Agreement between the United States Department of Homeland Security U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Weber County Sheriff's Office for reimbursement for TFO hours worked on immigration cases. 9. Request for approval of an extension of a proclamation to declare a local state of emergency due to a highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza effecting dairy farms in Weber County G. Action Items- 1. Request for approval of the first reading of an Ordinance of the County Commissioners of Weber County amending the Agriculture Protection Area fee in Weber County Code Section 16-2-2. Presenters: Lauren Thomas/Craig Brandt 2. Request for approval of a resolution of the County Commissioners of Weber County appointing members to the Agriculture Protection Area Advisory Board. Presenter: Duncan Olsen 4. Request for approval of a Contract language modification of the Westbridge Meadows development agreement to change ownership provisions.
