Secondary Water Meter Installation Project - Phase 4
Riverton City is conducting an Invitation for Bid inviting contractors to bid for the Secondary Water Meter Installation Project - Phase 4.
Background: Riverton City started a program in 2015 requiring all new developments within the City to install secondary water meters. The City has committed to install secondary water meters on all existing secondary services within the boundaries of the City. The installation of the secondary meters was divided into three construction seasons, with multiple project areas assigned to each season. This Invitation to Bid is for the remaining meters, which begins with this invitation and will run through the construction season of 2027. The project areas and specific project requirements are outlined in the bid package including plans and specifications.
Sealed bids will be due by 2:00 pm on August 27, 2026 and may be turned in at the Purchasing Office, located at 12830 South 1700 West, Riverton, Utah 84065, or may be submitted electronically at bid.submittal@rivertoncity.com. Bids submitted after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be opened and read aloud at approximately 2:01 pm. Bidders registered on the plan holder's list, may request to attend the opening via Zoom meeting by sending a request to the purchasing department, ccalvert@rivertonutah.gov.
Bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany each bid.

Notice of Special Accommodations (ADA)
Riverton City Hall is an accessible facility. Individuals needing special accommodations or assistance during this meeting shall notify the City Recorders Office at 801-208-3126, at least two business days in advance of the meeting. Accessible parking and entrance are located on the south end of the building with elevator access to the City Council Chambers located on the second floor.
