CITY COUNCIL AGENDA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE CENTERVILLE CITY COUNCIL WILL HOLD A REGULAR MEETING AT 7:00 PM ON AUGUST 18, 2026 AT CENTERVILLE CITY HALL, 250 NORTH MAIN STREET, CENTERVILLE, UTAH. Centerville City Council meetings are open to the public, unless otherwise closed for reasons allowed by law. Centerville City Council meetings may be conducted via electronic means pursuant to Utah Code § 52-4-207. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations due to a disability may contact the City Recorder at (801) 295-3477, at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting. The Mayor and Council reserve the right to modify the sequence of agenda items in order to facilitate special needs or provide greater efficiency. No. 2026-11 Consider proposed Centerville Municipal Code and Centerville Zoning Code Amendments to rename the Landmarks Commission as the Historic Preservation Commission and to appoint Whitaker Museum Board Members to act as Historic Preservation Commission Members - Ordinance No. 2026-10 and Ordinance No. 2026-11 2. Public Hearing - Centerville Fee Schedule Amendments - Field Use Fees - Resolution No. 2026-04 Consider Centerville Fee Schedule Amendments regarding increase to Field Use Fees as set forth in Section 15.030 - Resolution No. 2026-04. 3. Centerville Municipal Code Amendments - Citizen Corps Committee - CMC 3.03.100 - Ordinance No. 2026-16 Consider Centerville Municipal Code Amendments enacting CMC 3.03.100 creating the Citizen Corps Committee - Ordinance No. 2026-16 4. Centerville Personnel Policies Amendments - Drug and Alcohol Testing Policy Amendments - CPP 9.010 (Drug and Alcohol Testing) - Resolution No. 2026-22 Consider Resolution No. 2026-22 amending Section 9.010 (Drug and Alcohol Testing) of the Centerville Personnel Policies regarding drug and alcohol testing to comply with State law amendments and to designate safety-sensitive positions subject to random drug and alcohol testing. 5. 5th 5th Sales Tax Option Consideration of support of the local option sales tax 6. Community Park Restroom Purchase Consider the purchase of a pre-fabricated restroom with mounted drinking fountain for Community Park from CXL in the amount of $102,819.00 2. Purchase of Emergency Responder Radio Communications System Consider the purchase of Emergency Responder Radio Communication System for City Hall in the amount of $48,837 G. MINUTES Minutes of prior meetings may be reviewed and accepted. Minutes review and approval shall comply with the Centerville City Minutes Approval Policy. 1. CLOSED SESSION The City Council may vote to discuss matters in a closed session for reasons allowed by law, including, but not limited to, the provisions of Utah Code § 52-4-205 of the Open and Public Meetings Act, and for attorney-client matters that are privileged pursuant to Utah Code § 78B-1-137. 1.
