- NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of the City of St. George, will hold a public hearing at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at St. George City Offices located at 61 S Main Street, St. George, Utah to consider the following: A public hearing will be held to receive public comment on a request to change the zoning the from R-1-8 (Single-Family Residential, 8,000 ft² minimum lot size) and R-1-10 (Single-Family Residential, 10,000 ft² minimum lot size) to R-1 (Single Family Residential, no minimum lot size) on approximately 35.76 acres. The property is generally located north of the Dixie Intermediate School and south of Province Way. The applicant is American Consulting & Engineering, and the representative is Austin Chappell. The project is known as Horizon Ridge. Case No. 2026-ZC-014.
