PUBLIC HEARING
1. Parity Water Revenue Bonds, Not to Exceed $4,500,000
The meeting on the 19th is a public hearing for the purpose of receiving input from the public with respect to the issuance of the Bonds and any potential economic impact to the private sector from the engineering and well rehabilitation work to address an emergency drought situation and the acquisition of the assets of Big Plains Water & Sewer Special Service District, including real property and water rights (the 'Project') to be funded by the Parity Water Revenue Bonds in the amount not to exceed $4,500,000.
The Council will not need to adopt any documents, just hold the public hearing. The minutes from the hearing should include the bonds being issued (the $200,000 emergency project as well as the Drinking Water Board and Rural Development bonds that are being issued in acquiring the Big Plains debt), the repayment terms and any comments received from the public.
