Notice is hereby given that public hearings will be held by the Midway City Council on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, 6:00 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, Midway Community Center (160 West Main Street, Midway) and using Zoom (Instructions for participation can be found at www.midwaycityut.gov). Time will be allowed for public comment regarding the following items: Ordinance 2026-24 / TROD (Michael Henke, Community Development Director - Approximately 15 minutes) - Discuss and possibly adopt Ordinance 2026-24 amending the Midway City Zoning Map to reduce the areas included in the Transient Rental Overlay District (TROD). Recommended for adoption without conditions by the Midway City Planning Commission. Ordinance 2026-25 / Home Occupations (Michael Henke, Community Development Director - Approximately 10 minutes) - Discuss and possibly adopt Ordinance 2026-25 amending Section 16.13.270 (Home Occupations) of the Midway City Municipal Code regarding home occupations. Recommended for adoption without conditions by the Midway City Planning Commission. Haven Farms, Lot 12 / Plat Map Amendment (Mike Johnston, Atwell Engineering - Approximately 10 minutes) - Discuss and possibly grant a plat map amendment for Haven Farms, Lot 12 located at 138 West 1160 South. Wright Subdivision / Plat Map Amendment (Mike Johnston, Atwell Engineering - Approximately 5 minutes) - Discuss and possibly grant a plat map amendment for the Wright Subdivision located at 143 West 970 South. Information regarding the above items may be obtained from the Midway City Recorder at 75 North 100 West, Midway (Midway City Office Building). The information will also be posted at https://www.midwaycityut.gov/the-latest/calendar/ the Friday before the meeting.
