Bluff Water Works Special Service District Meeting Minutes for June 10, 2026 Called meeting to order: 7:05 In attendance: Marx Powell, Brandt Hart, Steve Simpson, Mike Yearus,, Jennifer Davila Absent: Amer Tumeh Audience: Gary Haws, Antonio Davila Approval of minutes: Heart: motions to approve the minutes with changes discussed Simpson: seconds the motion Passes Unanimously Community Input: None Culinary Water: Powell: Installed the new meter for Thomas Klosowski Made a repair on the meter for Jonathan Till Re-installed Davila meter Still working on getting the computer issue solved Unfinished Business: The insurance has gone up We have 2 payments left on the CBDG loan Water Meter Applications: Ann McCampbell and Thomas Klosowski applied for a 3/4' Meter for 3100.00 Hart motions to approve the meter Simpson seconds the motion Passes unanimously Antonio Davila asked how to apply for a meter Meter Report: Nielson Construction paid for the repairs on the system. Bills to Pay: See Treasures Report Simpson motions to pay the bills as presented Yearus seconds the motion Passes unanimously Other: Bushnell will be meeting with Rural Water to finalize the CCR, we will also be taking a water analysis to create a pond for secondary water to make sure that it is good for irrigation. There was a group of hydrology students who came to look at the water systems in the area. They tested the water for the age of the aquifer which aged at 50,000 years old. They were also trying to study where the arsenic in the water is coming from because our different town wells test so differently. Next meeting: July 8th, 2026 Meeting adjourned: 7:30.
