Town of Altamont Town Council Meeting Agenda Date: Wednesday, August 12, 2026 Time: 7:00 PM Location: Altamont Town Office, 15588 West 4000 North, Altamont, UT 84001 1. Call to Order & Welcome - Welcome by Mayor Scott Allen - Roll Call - Pledge of Allegiance 2. Public Comment Guidelines: Citizens may address the Town Council regarding items not on the formal agenda. Comments are limited to three (3) minutes per person. The Council cannot take definitive action on items raised during public comment that are not listed on the agenda. 3. Approval of Minutes - July 8, 2026: Regular Town Council Meeting Minutes - July 20, 2026: Special Town Council Meeting Minutes 4. Presentations & Scheduled Guests - Von Johnson (UBMC): Discussion regarding 911 emergency services and regional updates. - Property boundary adjustment: Presentation, discussion, and possible action to approve and sign the final plat map regarding proposed property line changes. - Property Management Update & Citizen Comments: A scheduled slot for council discussion regarding property management, with floor time available for a visiting property owner if they attend. 5. Bids & Action Items - Town Attorney Services: Public opening of sealed bids and Requests for Proposals (RFP) submitted for the Town Attorney position. 6. Departmental Updates & General Business - Fire Department & Safety: o Fire Department status report and operational updates. o Review and possible action on Resolution 2026-05A (Fireworks and Ignition Sources Restrictions). - Utilities Updates: o Status report on town water, sewer infrastructure, and utility operations. 7. Other Business 8. Adjournment
