Description/Agenda

In accordance with Utah Code 10-3-711, the Millcreek City Council adopted the following ordinances on August 10, 2026: Ordinance 26-56, Approving Monetary Contribution of Up to $200,000 to the Asian Association of Utah. The ordinance required a study in accordance with Utah Code Ann. § 10-8-2, setting forth an analysis and demonstrating the purpose for the appropriation, which was conducted on July 14, 2026. Ordinance 26-57, Approving a Monetary Contribution of Up to $5,000 for the Millcreek City 9/11 Day of Service. The ordinance required a study in accordance with Utah Code Ann. § 10-8-2, setting forth an analysis and demonstrating the purpose for the appropriation, which was conducted on July 21, 2026. Ordinance 26-58, Amending Sections 14.20.020 and 14.20.110 of the Millcreek Code of Ordinances Regarding Vehicular Access Requirements and Street Development. This ordinance provides amendments to Millcreek Code Title 14 for four-household dwellings and multiple-household dwellings. The ordinance is the same as Ordinance 26-55 with an updated code reference. Ordinance 26-59, Rezoning Certain Property Located at Approximately 3946 S 1100 E and 1059 E 3950 S from the Residential Mixed (RM) Zone and the Two-Household Residential (R-2-6.5) Zone to the Commercial (C) Zone with the Following Zone Condition: 'Uses on the Entirety of the Property Shall be Limited to a Parking Lot.' The ordinance rezoned property to accommodate a surface parking lot for St. Mark's Hospital, subject to the development agreement in Ordinance 26-60. Ordinance 26-60, Approving a Development Agreement for a Parking Lot Serving St. Mark's Hospital on Approximately 0.94 Acres of Property Located at Approximately 3946 South 1100 East and 1059 East 3950 South. The ordinance approved a development agreement in conjunction with the rezone in Ordinance 26-59. Ordinance 26-61, Approving the Disposition of Certain Surplus Public Property. The ordinance lists certain surplus tangible items to be sold.
