WASHINGTON CITY TRAFFIC PAINT STRIPING TRUCK MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS It is the intent of this specification to describe the minimum requirements for a new, unused paint striping truck truck in current production. All information required on this form must be filled in correctly and in its entirety or the bid will be rejected. The paint striping truck model bid must comply with SAE standards and meet OSHA, Federal and State regulations. Units that are classified as demonstrator, prototype or discontinued models are not acceptable. Modification of existing models to meet these specifications will not be accepted. All equipment and accessories cataloged as standard equipment will be included as part of this specification. Any bidder who willfully falsifies responses indicating compliance or noncompliance with the minimum requirements listed below will be subject to suspension and/or debarment from bidding. This specification is not to be interpreted as restrictive, but rather as a measure of the safety, quality and performance against which all bids will be compared. In comparing proposals, consideration will not be confined to price only. The successful bidder will be one whose product is judged to best serve the interest of Washington City when price, product, safety quality and delivery are considered. Washington City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part thereof, and to waive any minor technicalities. A contract will be awarded to the bidder submitting the lowest responsible bid meeting the requirements of this specification. Sealed bids are due by 1:30 pm on September 2, 2026 at the Washington City Public Works Office. Bids will be publicly opened at 1:30 pm on September 2, 2026.
