- NOTICE Invitation for Bid (IFB) SOFTBALL INFIELD RENOVATION Riverdale, Utah BIDS DUE: By 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 25, 2026 PROJECT NAME: Softball Infield Renovation BID OPEN: August 6, 2026 PROJECT LOCATION: Riverdale, Utah PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Riverdale City is seeking bids for softball infield reconstruction at Golden Spike Park (2 fields - 1260 W. 5050 S.) and Riverdale Park (1 field - 4300 S. Parker Drive). OWNER: Riverdale City Municipal Corporation 4600 So. Weber River Drive Riverdale, Utah 84405 CONTACT: Rich Taylor, Community Services Director rtaylor@riverdaleutah.gov 801.621.6084 All questions shall be submitted in writing to Rich Taylor no later than 5:00 p.m., MST, Tuesday, August 18, 2026. Bids should be dropped off to the City Recorder, located at 4600 So. Weber River Drive, Riverdale, Utah 84405 or submitted electronically to mmarigoni@riverdaleutah.gov BIDDER REQUIREMENTS: 1. Prior to submitting bid, bidder must meet with Rich Taylor, Community Services Director, for a site visit. The purpose of the site visit is to see scope of the project and understand the scope of work. Site visit must be scheduled by phone or email with Rich Taylor and must be completed by 5:00 p.m. Friday, August 21, 2026. 2. Bidder must provide proof of liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000.00. 3. Bidder must demonstrate experience by providing at least five references from customers where they performed similar work on softball/baseball fields. 4. Bids must include the following services: a. reestablish infield radius; b. rebuild pitcher's mound; c. provide equipment to do the work; d. soil reconditioning. 5. Bidder must include itemized costs for two softball fields at Golden Spike and one softball field at Riverdale Park. 6. Bidder shall provide a detailed production schedule to include arrival, set up, clean up, safety procedures, etc. We will award to the lowest bidder, meeting all solicitation requirements. Riverdale City reserves the right to reject any or all bids received for any reason.
