The fire has reached the mouth of Black Canyon and crews are working to hold along the eastern flank west of Lowry Water Road and using targeted firing operations to control the fire's edge. Contingency dozer line has been completed north, northwest of the Reeder Subdivision, and engines are patrolling the area overnight as an additional precaution. A map of the closure area is available at https://www.fs.usda.gov/r04/manti-lasal/alerts. The Reeder Subdivision remains under a 'GO' evacuation order issued by the Emery County Sheriff's Office.
