TOWN OF APPLE VALLEY
NOTICE OF TOWN COUNCIL VACANCY AND INVITATION FOR APPLICATIONS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a vacancy will occur on the Apple Valley Town Council effective August 31, 2026, due to the resignation of Council Member Annie Spendlove.
Pursuant to Utah Code § 20A-1-510, the Apple Valley Town Council will appoint a qualified individual to fill the unexpired term.
Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Be a registered voter residing within the Town of Apple Valley.
- Meet the qualifications for municipal office under Utah Code § 10-3-301.
- Complete and submit the required Conflict of Interest Disclosure Statement.
Application Process
Individuals interested in being considered for appointment shall submit:
- A completed Town Council Vacancy Application.
- A letter of interest.
- A completed Conflict of Interest Disclosure Statement.

Application Deadline
Applications must be received by the Town Clerk no later than 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.

The individual appointed by the Town Council will assume office on September 1, 2026, the day following the effective date of the vacancy.
