Notice is hereby given that the Kanab City Council will hold a public hearing to receive comments regarding Kanab City's proposed application for funding through the Utah Community Impact Board (CIB) for the purchase of a new aerial ladder fire truck. The proposed project will replace aging fire apparatus and enhance the City's ability to provide fire protection, rescue services, and emergency response to the community and surrounding service areas. The public hearing will be held during the Kanab City Council meeting on August 11 at 6:30 pm in the Kanab City Council Chambers, 26 North 100 East, Kanab, Utah. The purpose of the hearing is to provide members of the public an opportunity to review the proposed funding application and offer comments regarding the project. Written comments may also be submitted to Kanab City prior to the meeting. All interested persons are invited to attend and be heard.
