LOGAN-CACHE AIRPORT AUTHORITY BOARD AUGUST 6, 2026 9:00 a.m. MEETING CANCELED The regularly scheduled August 2026 Logan-Cache Airport Authority Board meeting has been canceled pending finalization of the resolution regarding Airport Authority Board operating procedures. In the recent meeting of the Cache County Council the amendment to the Interlocal Agreement between Cache County and Logan City regarding the Logan-Cache Airport was approved. The addendum will now be presented to the Logan City Council for approval, presumably in the meeting scheduled for August 4, 2026. It has taken a long time to get to this point, much longer than anticipated, with input from a number of stake holders, but progress is being made. Following the required approvals, the addendum calls for the forming of a Sponsor Board to oversee the actions of the Airport Authority Board. Hopefully, this can be completed expeditiously and we can get on with airport business. It is anticipated that the next meeting will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Board members and interested parties will be notified of the anticipated September meeting and the agenda will be posted on the state public notice website, as well as the Airport Authority Board page on the Cache County website at: https://www.cachecounty.gov/airport/airport.html
