PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE AUGUST 18, 2026 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Pleasant Grove City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday August 18, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Community Room at 108 S 100 E, Pleasant Grove, Utah, to consider the following item(s): Public Hearing to take public comment regarding a Resolution adopting the Pleasant Grove City Final Budget for FY 2026-2027. NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE PLEASANT GROVE CITY Pleasant Grove City is proposing to increase its property tax revenue.- Pleasant Grove City tax on a $602,000 residence would increase from $310.57 to $337.72, which is $27.15 per year.- Pleasant Grove City tax on a $602,000 business would increase from $564.68 to $614.04, which is $49.36 per year.-If the proposed budget is approved, Pleasant Grove City would receive an additional $365,667 in property tax revenue per year as a result of the tax increase.- If the proposed budget is approved, Pleasant Grove City would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 8.72% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth. Pleasant Grove City invites all concerned citizens to a public hearing for the purpose of hearing comments regarding the proposed tax increase and to explain the reasons for the proposed tax increase. You have the option to attend or participate in the public hearing in person or online. PUBLIC HEARING Date/Time: August 11, 2026 at 6:00 pm. Location: Community Room at 108 South 100 East Pleasant Grove, UT 84062.
