Description/Agenda: Public Notice The Hurricane City Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing during their regular meeting at the Hurricane City Office 147 N 870 West on August 13, 2026 commencing at 6:00 p.m. to take comments on the following: 1. A Zone Change Amendment request located along Sand Hollow Rd on approx.. 610 acres from RA-1, residential agriculture one unit per acre, to the following: a. RR, recreational resort - 205 acres b. PC, planned commercial - 176 acres c. R1-10/PDO, residential one unit per 10,000 square feet with a planned development overlay - 168 acres d. R1-8/PDO, residential one unit per 8,000 square feet with a planned development overlay - 61 acres 2. A Zone Change Amendment request located at 460 N Hurricane Cliffs Parkway from M-1, light industrial, to M-2, heavy industrial. Details for these applications are available in the Planning Department at the City Office, 147 N. 870 West. If you would like to make comments, please plan to attend the meeting or provide written comments to publiccomment@cityofhurricane.com or to the Planning Department at the above address for the Planning Commission's consideration by 3 p.m. the day of the meeting.
