.The Peak Contract for Pool Covers, Corey Bullock
Tooele County Parks and Recreation is requesting to use Master Plan money to purchase loop
Loc covers for the pool. Outdoor pools in northern Utah require winterization during the offseason. There are two main ways to winterize an outdoor pool: drain the pool entirely and blow
out the lines, or lower the pool level, keep it circulating, and cover it with sturdy covers. Tooele
County Parks and Recreation is recommending covering the pools to save water, improve pool
management efficiency, and enhance safety. Landmark Aquatics, which built the pool, will
supply the covers. The covers for both pools total $208,950.
