NOTICE OF CERTIFICATION OF ANNEXATION PETITION South Valley Annexation Notice is hereby given that a petition for annexation has been filed with Spanish Fork City, which petition has been certified as of July 29, 2026, which petition covers 18.76 acres consisting of property owned by Ray's Valley Development LLC (parcel # 26:050:0074, 26:050:0071, 26:051:0136), located at approximately 2200 North 800 East, Utah County. The complete petition and accompanying map are available for inspection and copying at the Spanish Fork City Office, located at 40 South Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah, during regular business hours. Spanish Fork City may grant the petition unless a written protest is filed with the Utah County Boundary Commission, Attn: Alice Black, 100 East Center Street, Provo, Utah 84606, on or before August 28, 2026. A copy of the written protest must also be delivered or mailed to the Spanish Fork City Recorder, 40 South Main Street, Spanish Fork, Utah 84660. A protest should identify the annexation being protested, include the name and mailing address of the protestor, state the protestor's qualifying status under Utah Code § 10-2-810, and state the reason for the protest. A protest to the annexation petition may only be filed by: (1) the legislative body or governing board of an affected entity; (2) an owner of rural real property located within the area proposed for annexation; or (3) an owner of private real property located in a mining protection area, as provided in Utah Code § 10-2-810(1). For purposes of determining whether property is rural real property, see Utah Code § 17B-2a-1107.
