b. Crisis and Intensive Services Division: Scott reported on the newly developed Attachment IOP program, designed to support post-adopt children and families-primarily those involved with DCFS-who have intensive needs across the state. The program, which has been discussed in state meetings, was created by repurposing an existing day treatment program. It is an eight-week program, and outcome data has been collected and reviewed. Reported results showed improvement across several areas, including increased communication within adoptive families. The majority of participating parents noted progress in communication, as well as overall improvements in parenting skills.
c. Clinical and Community Services Division: Elizabeth reported that Erin Awerkamp, the new Program Manager for school-based services, has been introduced to key stakeholders within the newly formed school districts resulting from the Alpine School District split. The districts remain in early stages of organization and are not yet able to make formal commitments. However, they have expressed recognition of the value WBH provides in school-based services, and continuation of services appears favorable.
d. Human Resources: Evan reported that the annual benefits open enrollment process has recently been completed. The use of digital tools, particularly Employee Navigator, along with support from HR staff, helped streamline and simplify the process for employees. He also noted that the organization is anticipating a transition to a new HR software system within the next few years.
