NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE
WEST JORDAN FAIRWAY ESTATES SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRI
The WEST JORDAN FAIRWAY ESTATES SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRI is proposing to increase its property tax revenue.
The WEST JORDAN FAIRWAY ESTATES SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRI tax on a $537,000 residence would increase from $238.94 to $262.57, which is $23.63 per year.
The WEST JORDAN FAIRWAY ESTATES SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRI tax on a $537,000 business would increase from $434.43 to $477.39, which is $42.96 per year.
If the proposed budget is approved, WEST JORDAN FAIRWAY ESTATES SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRI would receive an additional $1,209 in property tax revenue per year as a result of the tax increase. If the proposed budget is approved, WEST JORDAN FAIRWAY ESTATES SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRI would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 9.88% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth.
The WEST JORDAN FAIRWAY ESTATES SPECIAL SERVICE DISTRI invites all concerned citizens to a public hearing for the purpose of hearing comments regarding the proposed tax increase and to explain the reasons for the proposed tax increase. You have the option to attend or participate in the public hearing in person or virtually.

Notice of Electronic or Telephone Participation
One or more board members may participate electronically in this meeting using online video conferencing technology per Utah Code (ยง52-4-207) and West Jordan City Code 1-13-1-E. Participation will be broadcast and amplified so all present in the meeting will be able to hear or see the communication.
