- Updated rules concerning the Amendment to the Scofield Town Declaration of Hazardous Environmental Conditions Dated June 14, 2026 Adding Section g. to the Declaration Prohibiting the Discharge of Fireworks and Other Possible Ignition Sources This document is an update to section g in regards to campfires. Due to recent numerous rainfall events in Scofield town and the surrounding Wildland Urban Interface areas, the Scofield fire chief has determined that fire danger has decreased dramatically. Because of the moisture that we have received, campfires will be allowed in improved fire pits where running water is available. Ground fires are not permitted.
