Public Comment: This is an opportunity to address the Council regarding your concerns or ideas. Please limit your comments to three minutes. (Individuals wishing to provide public comment may do so via email to City Recorder Cassie Brown, cassieb@syracuseut.gov, by 4:00 p.m. on July 28, 2026. Comments submitted by the deadline will be read for the record of the meeting.) c. Request to be on the agenda: Syracuse High School representatives regarding street painting/street banners during homecoming week. (10 min.) d. Planning items: 1. Application for pre-application consultation with the City Council, Brandon Wood of The Northwood Group regarding property located at approximately 3000 S. 2800 W. (15 min.) 2. Recommendation from the Planning Commission to amend Syracuse Municipal Code (SMC) Section 8.30 and 10.20.140 pertaining to final plat approval. (10 min.) 3. Recommendation from the Planning Commission to amend Syracuse Municipal Code (SMC) Section 10.20.070 pertaining to zoning reversion. (10 min.) 4. Review and discussion of the priorities for the State Road (SR) 193 Economic Development Area (EDA) ThreeYear Plan. (15 min.) 5. Discussion regarding possible amendments to Syracuse Municipal Code (SMC) 10.10.140 and 10.90 pertaining to drone operation within City limits. (10 min.) e. Request from Syracuse City Fire Chief to authorize the order of a new Ambulance to be delivered during Fiscal Year (FY) 2028. (5 min.) f. Discussion/review of proposed ordinance requiring protective headgear when operating e-bikes and e-scooters on public property. (10 min.) g. Review/discussion of Real Estate Purchase Contract (REPC) for City-owned property located at 508 W. 2700 S. (10 min.) h.
