- Recognized Community Organizations: Representative gets five (5) minutes.

If you are unable to attend the meeting in person but would like to submit comments on an agenda item, please email the staff contact listed for that specific item.
Submission Deadlines:
- Comments must be received by 12:00 PM on the Wednesday the week before the meeting to be included in the Staff Report.
- Comments received between 12:01 PM on the Wednesday the week before the meeting and 12:00 PM on the day of the meeting will be forwarded to the Commission (but not included in the Staff Report).

1. Approval of the Minutes for July 9, 2026.
PUBLIC HEARINGS
2. Major Alteration at Approximately 378 N Quince St - Upwall Design, on behalf of the property owner, is requesting approval for a major alteration to the Carlson House, a local landmark site located at 378 N Quince Street within the Capitol Hill Local Historic District. The proposal includes construction of a new two story addition that extends along Quince Street. The property is zoned SR-1A (Special Development Pattern Residential District) and is within Council District 3, represented by Chris Wharton. 3. Designation of Gilgal Gardens on the Local Register as a Landmark Site - At the direction of Mayor Erin Mendenhall, the Planning Division is undertaking the process to designate Gilgal Gardens, located at 749 E 500 South, on the Local Register as a Landmark Site. Applicable designation standards are found in Salt Lake City Code Section 21A.51.040.A - Standards for the Designation of a Landmark Site, Local Historic District or Thematic Designation. Properties designated as Local Landmark sites are subject to the zoning ordinance provisions of the H-Historic Preservation Overlay (Section 21A.34.020 of Salt Lake City Code), which provides demolition protection and City oversight to review any modifications to ensure historic appropriateness and the ongoing protection of important historic resources. 4. Relocation of a Contributing Structure at Approximately 630 S 700 E. - A request by Douglas White, representing Trolley Square Ventures, LLC, to relocate the contributing structure located at 630 S 700 E to 636 E Sego Ave in the Central City Local Historic District. The property where the structure is currently located is zoned RMF-30 (Low-Density Multi-Family Residential), and the property where it would be relocated is zoned SR-3 (Special Development Pattern Residential). The dwelling is listed as a contributing structure to Central City Local Historic District. The subject property is within Council District 4, represented by Jennifer Napier-Pearce.
