NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE SALT LAKE CITY
The SALT LAKE CITY is proposing to increase its property tax revenue.
The SALT LAKE CITY tax on a $703,000 residence would increase from $1,090.74 to $1,190.88, which is $100.14 per year.
The SALT LAKE CITY tax on a $703,000 business would increase from $1,983.16 to $2,165.24, which is $182.08 per year.
If the proposed budget is approved, SALT LAKE CITY would receive an additional $13,793,967 in property tax revenue per year as a result of the tax increase. If the proposed budget is approved, SALT LAKE CITY would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 9.16% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth.
The SALT LAKE CITY invites all concerned citizens to a public hearing for the purpose of hearing comments regarding the proposed tax increase and to explain the reasons for the proposed tax increase. You have the option to attend or participate in the public hearing in person or virtually.
