Notice of the Salt Lake County Consolidated Plan Public Hearing & Public Comment Period; 2012-13; Funding Recommendations for 2012-13; and the Annual Program Performance Report for 2010-11
The Salt Lake County Community and Economic Development Advisory Council (CEDAC); Social Services Advisory Council (SSAC) and HOME Consortium Committee have completed their deliberations on proposed funding recommendations for the 2012-2013 (38th Year) Community Development Block Grant Program; (21st Year) Emergency Solutions Grant Program; (26th Year) HOME Investment Partnerships Program and the Social Services Block Grant Program for Salt Lake County. These funds will be effective July 1, 2012. You may access the funding recommendations made by these committees by going to: http://crd.slco.org/communityDev/PublicNoticesComment.html and clicking on “Funding Recommendations” at the bottom of the page.
Please note, however, final decision and responsibility regarding the funding rests with the County Mayor.
The Salt Lake County Mayor and the three committees will conduct a Public Hearing on the funding recommendations will be held on Monday, April 16, 2012 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the County Government Center Council Chambers, First Floor, North Building, 2001 South State Street. Affected and interested citizens will have an opportunity to provide comments on the funding recommendations at this time.
A draft Action Plan for 2012-2013 and the 2010-11 Program Performance Report (CAPER) are currently available for public comment. A copy can be obtained from the Salt Lake County Division of Community Resources and Development, 2001 South State Street, Suite S2100, Salt Lake City, Utah 84190 or call Randy Jepperson at (385) 468-4886 or Relay Utah #711. Alternate formats of the Action Plan available upon request.
Please note the Hearing starts at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 16th. The County Mayor will conduct the Hearing and will make final decisions regarding funding by April 30, 2012.
