NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER HARRISVILLE ORDINANCE 573 AMENDING SECTIONS 11.01.060, 11.08.020, AND 11.10.020 OF THE HARRISVILLE CITY CODE.
In accordance with Utah Code ยง10-20-205, the Harrisville City Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at 7:00 PM, at the Harrisville City Hall located at 363 West Independence Blvd, Harrisville, Utah 84404. Harrisville City intends to adopt Ordinance 573 Amendments to Harrisville City Code 11.1.060 Definitions, 11.08.020 Uses, and 11.20.260 Special Regulations. The proposed changes update Harrisville City's land use code to clarify the definition of a Produce Stand and set clearer rules for their size, location, parking, hours, and product sourcing in residential and agricultural zones. All interested persons in attendance shall be given an opportunity to be heard, and may provide comments, for and/or against Harrisville Ordinance 573. The changes will have citywide applicability.
Affected entities and the public are encouraged to provide information to consider in the process of preparing, adopting, and implementing the amendments.
