NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE HIGHLAND CITY The HIGHLAND CITY is proposing to increase its property tax revenue. The HIGHLAND CITY tax on a $1,036,000 residence would increase from $413.11 to $441.60, which is $28.49 per year. The HIGHLAND CITY tax on a $1,036,000 business would increase from $751 .10 to $802.90, which is $51.80 per year. If the proposed budget is approved, HIGHLAND CITY would receive an additional $172,488 in property tax revenue per year as a result of the tax increase. If the proposed budget is approved, HIGHLAND CITY would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 6.89% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth. The HIGHLAND CITY invites all concerned citizens to a public hearing for the purpose of hearing comments regarding the proposed tax increase and to explain the reasons for the proposed tax increase. You have the option to attend or participate in the public hearing in person or virtually. Date/Time: Location: PUBLIC HEARING 8/11/2026 6:00 P.M. Highland City Hall Council Chambers 5400 West Civic Center Drive Highland To obtain more information regarding the tax increase, citizens may contact the HIGHLAND CITY at 801-756-5751 or visit www.highlandut.gov Instructions for virtual participation in the public hearing will be available at www.highlandut.gov no later than 24 hours before the public hearing is scheduled to begin.

THE PUBLIC IS INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN ALL CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS In accordance with the Americans Disabilities Act, Highland City will make reasonable accommodations to participate in the meeting. Requests for assistance can be made by contacting the City Recorder at (801) 772-4505 at least three days in advance of the meeting.
