- Approved Minutes Of the Southwestern Special Service District Meeting held on Thursday May 21, 2026, 7:00 pm at the Winchester Hills Fire Station, Winchester Hills, Utah I. Call to Order A. Invocation - Ferris Emery B. Pledge of Allegiance - Rich Kelly C. Attendance - Ferris Emery, Cheryl Christensen, Kathy Farnsworth, Rich Kelly. Excused Chief Christensen and Don Ruesch II. Public comments No public in attendance III. Reports A. Fire Chief's Report - 7 calls, 6 sicknesses, 1 vehicle fire. Doing regular training with ladders, knots. Easter egg hunt was successful. Void check for SCBA's B. Approve March 2026 minutes - Rich made a motion to approve March 2026 minutes, Cheryl 2nd that motion approved with board members present. IV. Approval of Financial reports A. Rich Financial reports - Cheryl made a motion to accept Jan. and Feb. 2026 financial reports, Kathy 2nd that motion approved with board members present. March and April financial reports hold for review till next meeting on July 16, 2026. B. Bills - gas, electric, check for Tatum 2 months, books received from UVU check was mailed out and received. Cheryl made a motion to pay bills, Kathy 2nd that motion approved with board members present. C. Deposits - 3 deposits 1 from county, 2 state rent V. Business Rich made a motion to adjourn, Cheryl 2nd that motion all approved with board members present. Next scheduled meeting July 16, 2026, at 7:00 pm
