NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE CENTRAL UTAH WATER CONSERVANCY DISTRICT IN UTAH COUNTY
The CENTRAL UTAH WATER CONSERVANCY DISTRICT tax on a $576,000 residence would increase from $124.82 to $126.72, which is $1.90 per year.
The CENTRAL UTAH WATER CONSERVANCY DISTRICT tax on a $576,000 business would increase from $226.94 to $230.40, which is $3.46 per year.
If the proposed budget is approved, CENTRAL UTAH WATER CONSERVANCY DISTRICT would receive an additional $555,517 in property tax revenue per year as a result of the tax increase. If the proposed budget is approved, CENTRAL UTAH WATER CONSERVANCY DISTRICT would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 0.71% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth.
The CENTRAL UTAH WATER CONSERVANCY DISTRICT invites all concerned citizens to a public hearing for the purpose of hearing comments regarding the proposed tax increase and to explain the reasons for the proposed tax increase. You have the option to attend or participate in the public hearing in person or virtually.

You may also enter comments into the meeting chat and they will be read during the public comment portion of the hearing. Comments made electronically are also limited to three minutes per speaker.
